Gather around and hear the tale of hypocrisy and how to fight against it. I have watched Dana Loesh for a while now, and one thing she is use to is hate mail. On Fridays, she would read the top hate mail of the week both on NPR and her show at the Blaze. However threatening family members is a no-go, especially when it when it comes to children that are being threatened.
On Sunday, Dana received such a tweet: “The only way these people learn is if it affects them directly,” Twitter user Milan Legius wrote in a reply to Loesch. “So if Dana Loesch has to have her children murdered before she’ll understand, I guess that’s what needs to happen.” After seeing this Tweet, she promptly reported it and here was the reply she got back, after “carefully” reviewing the reported tweet, that it had “no violation of the Twitter Rules against abusive behavior.” Now Dana Loesch is the National Rifle Association (NRA) spokeswoman and for that reason I speculate Twitter sat on their ass and did nothing. If she was an SJW, Feminist, Antifa, Or a snowflake type person; that Tweet would have been flagged and the user’s account shut down. Just another example of how Political Ideology comes into play on these social platforms. If you are not on the “right side” these companies will not care about you and just shrug it off.
While the leftist-media did not mention a word about this, everyone else did. There was a major backlash for their inaction in blocking this threat. The rage continued to play out on the non-leftist media sites. which forced Twitter’s hand on Monday, “We have re-reviewed the account you reported and have locked it because we found it to be in violation of the Twitter Rules,” Twitter wrote in an email to Dana’s husband Chris Loesch, who shared it with TheDCNF. “You may not make specific threats of violence or wish for the serious physical harm, death, or disease of an individual or group of people,” Twitter’s rules state. “If the account owner complies with our requested actions and stated policies, the account will be unlocked,” Twitter wrote in the email to Loesch, who initially reported the threat against the couple’s children. I like how it says that this troll can get his account unblocked, even though he (yes I did gender this person) made a viable threat at Dana’s family. The evidence keeps growing that these platforms do not care about “We The People” and will do to us as they did to Alex Jones.
Arthur of Rhetorical Entertainment is doing something about this while everyone else is fine just talking about it. He has created an Internet Constitution that is a living document. Feed back would be most welcome. Also the only thing I ask is read it and share it, that way we can start taking steps to equality and freedom on the Internet.
Also I used the tweets from the Daily Caller and there link is below to that article:
