About the Blotter…
The racial makeup of the victim and perpetrators will NOT be highlighted here. A victim is a victim and perpetrators are just that, perpetrators. You can draw your own conclusion as to the motives unless one is clearly given through investigations. We at MWM media do not subscribe to pointing out the races of the individuals in the crimes included in the blotter. We also will not name the perpetrators more than once.
We prefer to highlight the victims. After the initial listing of the perpetrator’s name, they will be written as “the perpetrator”, “the suspect”, “the assailant”, and any other descriptor that points out who allegedly committed the crime. All suspects are to have allegedly committed the crime unless they are found guilty in a court of law.
Our intention with the Crime Blotter segment of this blog is to present the facts as we have found them, not to incriminate anyone included in the articles.
The only exception is the race of the people that were attacked in New York as the cases have been transferred to the Hate Crime division.
